Close your eyes

- listen - 

hear the house tremble,

trees sway,

outside furniture moving,

wind-chimes banging up a storm;

windows rattling,

vents speaking of the outside

you are about to enter.....

Careful with the door

try to put things back in place

as walking the dog...

Hair blowing despite the braid.

Dog sniffing as scents change.

A coolness, a change

from yesterday - heat

yet gusts continue.

Tie up pepper plants...

breathe and return inside

remembering to listen

to the wind 

and 

its'

knowledge.
