until no choice exists
but to
demand attention
screaming out the need

Sweet sun soaking
my back
as I tend my
garden outside.
Roses blooming,
tomatoes turning red -
three weeks ago.


Frost on car,
winter boots adorned
to walk the dog.
Gorgeous frost
enhancing bushes
fresh chill
in the air.
Another wonderful
season.


But where went autumn?

Morning Sun
blinding the eyes
piercing through
to Soul;
Illuminating
the Truth.
Angelic song
encompassing the heart
awakening our
innocence,
unfolding our faith
to go beyond
what is visible
to the eye -
to see the honesty
of the heavens
our true path
to vibrate to the
sound
of
Loving Soul.

SILENCE SPEAKS

SILENCE SPEAKS


Drums softly heard
vibrating into the
crevices of the mountainsides

beckoning our ancestors
to enter our soul
reminding us of our paths
illuminating our minds
praying to them
for daily reminders
to listen....
to hear the winter snows
as they fall in silence
to sing with the rivers
as spring approaches
freshening the waters
to cleanse the Spirit

a rebirth
another cycle spiraling

into higher vibrations
remaining in contact

with the beat of
Mother Earth.

SERENITY

SERENITY


Entering the room
her robe hung loosely

off her shoulders -
bare feet sliding
from underneath
the silk cloth.


Walking to the bed
tossing back satin sheets
the robe slips to the floor
uncovering the beauty
of her soul.


She lays between
the sheets
hair flowing freely
as she turns on her side
to caress your back.
Lips meet and
the day melts into
a moment of
serenity.

DREAMLAND


Swaying palm trees
rain pitter-pattering
on the roof
cleansing the air
purifying thoughts
allowing forgiveness
as clouds form
entering evening
creating an opening
into the imagination
of the stars
and
vulnerability of
our dreams.
