Breezes blow.
Clouds disappear.
Stars sparkle above
barely visible as the
horizon glows of red.
Streaming angelic bodies;
harmonizing voices.
The moon crescents
and
left-over wispy clouds
reflect billowing pink strands
of sunlight
creating the ultimate
of Sunsets.

SEASONS


Wolf roams the wilderness
alone - yet not.
Each howl;
each silent move assisted
by those gone unseen.
Watching his territory.
Defending what is his -
Loyal, responsible
to his calling.


Moon talks as it rises high
growing from darkness to light
walking with the wolf
each step -

each gaze -
until the cycle repeats
as winter to spring,
summer to fall.

GARDEN SONGBIRDS


Serenely sweet sings the sparrow;
How do I cherish my love!


With wishes and kisses
succumbing to blisses
is how I cherish my love.


Commonly comical chirps the canary;
How do I cherish my love!


With miles of smiles
intertwined with trials
is how I cherish my love.


Hauntingly hungry hammers the hummingbird;
How do I cherish my love!


With rivers of shivers
within my quivers
is how I cherish my love.

Wrote this for a poetry class....


DELLECE


Dellece awaited this moment
with enduring patience -
the arrival of her
prince charming
galloping up on his stead
of brilliant white
to consummate the
scintillating attraction
of two quivering lovers.


He enveloped her within
his robust forearms
showering her golden locks
with unending kisses
immersing Dellece
into a
land of enchantment
as they mingles
their souls
into ONE.
