Morning light -
birds soar -

as an infant's smile.

The eternal search,
the everlasting
heartbreak -
as one watches
from afar
their lover's life -
its' twists and tangles,
turmoil and torments
as the other grows,
learns and be's.

love -
for each soul

INSANE WORLD
She awoke -
tears of last night
still swarm in her eyes.
Body tense -
pain bearable
yet always present.
She greeted the sun
with volcanic sorrow,
grief beyond repair;
exhaustion that
drains the spirit
and
cuts through the soul -
heartbreak from life.
Unable to enjoy its
beauty.
Unable to give any
back.
Sanctity within an
insane world
kills.

Realizing your life

family and child.
Accepting the reality
of not being seen,
recognizing each day
the power of another
seldom comes your way.
Knowing time is essential
yet having no more;
seeing the world
as no one else can;
witnessing the power
unused -
being born before
your time,
withering away
due to no physical
touch -
no sharing -
has been spent alone

GARDENS
Gardens can be fun,
especially when all done.
Watering and weeding;
plants need feeding.
Rabbits burrowing homes
thinking they are domes.
Protection from all
though not realizing its' fall.
Gardner walls hole
yet hurting her soul.
Bunny she adores
but garden can't be their floor.
Now more watering needed -
let's not talk about weeded.
Never a lack of work
yet gardens are a perk.
