LIFE

It flows
up
down,
through sunrises,
sunsets,
rains,
and clear skies
enlightening dreams;
cutting through demons;
encompassing the process
which defines life.

GARDENS

Gardens can be fun,
especially when all done.
Watering and weeding;
plants need feeding.
Rabbits burrowing homes
thinking they are domes.
Protection from all
though not realizing its' fall.
Gardner walls hole
yet hurting her soul.
Bunny she adores
but garden can't be their floor.
Now more watering needed -
let's not talk about weeded. 
Never a lack of work
yet gardens are a perk.

MANIA

A touch of insanity

which leads to creativity;

exhausting hours

creating ideas in showers

flowing down from above 

as if brought by a dove;

yet entering your heart

swiftly as a dart

that would severe you from your past.

Yet your mania

continues you on your path.

ALTERED REALITIES

Moment to moment
different thoughts, various ideas
swinging from stability to madness
Contented to disruption
Sanity to upheaval.
Living each second as a separate entity
unable to remember her vision
as the instant changes.
Anger arises
as she does not get her wish;
only to desire something
different within the next sentence.
Fearful to make a decision
as the mind may change
within the hour and the tears flow
because this woman no longer
knows herself.

SNOW-CAPPED MOUNTAINS

Innocence of winter
reflected in icy waters
of death and decay
while hibernating souls
sleep among the snow-covered trees.
Father Winter watches all
from the top
of the glacial mountain peaks.
Seemingly frozen land
birthing juvenile spirits
preparing for life
waiting for Father Winter
to call for the Spring.
