SOUL MEETING
Your eyes met mine.
I cannot forget
the depth of their color -
sincerity of their sparkle.
Your eyes met mine.
I cannot forget
the depth of their color -
sincerity of their sparkle.
Long brown ponytail
caressing your back,
begging to touch the skin
of another - yet -
tenderly his hand touched mine -
a meeting of souls
consummated by the physical
if only for a moment -
lasting a lifetime
and beyond -
existing in distance,
desiring closeness
to once again
gaze into those eyes of crystal topaz
creating a blaze of infinity.
