Hi!
I'm Angie and I am a rural artist, living in a mountainous region, the
Kootenays- near the small art town of Nelson, in British Columbia (BC),
Canada.
I have always loved nature, and have an expanding range of interests,
but am especially fond of miniatures, animals, bright colors and shiny
finishes, so they do prevail in my work.
I've been creating things since I can remember, my mom taught me to
crochet, and embroider, while my dad taught me to paint and encouraged
me to follow my heart.
There are many crafts I've made over the years, and numerous mediums
I've worked with too but I'm always drawn back to painting ... and
making little treasures.
I doubt I'll outgrow my love for creating beautiful things.
SmilingBlueDog is a one person shop, I do all the designing, making,
printing, photographing, listing, editing, blogging, web site-ing and
promoting, and more, however my husband does most of my packaging and
shipping these days :)
