Wrote this yesterday:
MY LIFE
I woke up today
MY LIFE
I woke up today
a smile on my face.
I stretched and yawned;
refused to join the race.
Kitty on bed,
Kitty on bed,
dog at the door
each wanting attention -
requesting more, more and more...
My feet felt the floor
My feet felt the floor
cool to the touch.
I breathed in the air -
I have so much.
Whether roof overhead
or food in the pot,
they make life better
or maybe not.
What's in my soul
What's in my soul
and I give each day
is truly the path
to my own way.

Actually they are not tame - just sort-of used to people around. Plus if both you and they are real still - we both wonder who will bolt first!
