I absolutely love designing note cards!

I love coming up with ideas and challenging myself to implement them. I particularly enjoy making cards that are personalized, not only with names or initials, but with a theme that speaks to a particular interest or style.
After over-satisfying the stationery needs of all my friends and family, it became clear that I needed to find new avenues of distribution. Also, as anyone that has used a color printer knows, that dang ink is expensive! If I was going to support my printing habit, I was going to have to generate some revenue so this ink junkie set up a little business called “Diane’s Personalized Note Cards”! It has been a delight! Not only is it an excuse to design up a storm but it provides income to pay for supplies! Awesome! Along the way I have met so many terrific people and have enjoyed providing them with something unique and special. My name is Angie and I am a little-known rural artist, living in the Kootenays- near the small art town of Nelson, in British Columbia, Canada. 

I love nature, and have a large range of interests, especially miniatures, animals, bright colors and shiny finishes, so they do prevail.

My life - transplanting the peach tree -

I pray the little peach tree I transplanted doesn't die - I did not get the entire tap root - but got the fence put up around it and transplanted.  However just as I got it into the ground with water drizzling into it - I received a call from the emergency center - hubby had pressed his emergency botton - first time he has EVER done that - they said he was in the house and feeling like he was going to pass out .  I literally ran into the house - not far - but threw my crutch and everything but the phone on the ground - immediately took his blood sugar again after running into the bathroom to get more strips to test - his sugars had been at 40 - (normal is the lowest 60 fasting) so after 2 T of honey and 2 cups of OJ - he is a type I diabetic so never has anything with sugar - which means his sugar had been below 40 - luckily the paramedics were right behind me almost - they did take him to the ER and gave him another antibiotic for his persistent cough - he has barely slept for the past month and getting worse - a possible type of pneumonia that doesn't show up on X-Rays and his kidneys are getting worse - his mother died of kidney failure.   His auto-immune nervous system disorder seems to be acting up - where blood pressure - which was low also - and he has high blood pressure problems - and sugars just do whatever they feel like doing. Anyway - that was my day Sunday - -wops doggie's paw watch going off - better take her out -

Welcome to Belle Bloom Vintage and Collections! Our shop features primarily quality vintage (and handmade) treasures that have been stored away for decades and some handcrafted goodies made by me.
I come from a line of very talented family members who I have always wanted to share with you through Etsy. My dad used to make jewelry 30 years ago and sold many other valuable goods in order to provide for the family. He immediately had to pursue another career because it was just not enough to sustain the family that time. Though he put a lot of hard work in making jewelry to feed the family, he definitely would go back now to making jewelry in a heartbeat!
My auntie has always been so amazingly crafty. 30 years ago, she was responsible for making all the macrame jewelry and accessories featured in this shop. She spent diligent hours crafting macrame jewelry to sell to help our struggling family.
All of their merchandise have been safely stored and in great condition. They pride themselves in possessing high quality merchandise and using high quality materials in their crafts.
My family has inspired the creative side in me that I am very excited to share with you. I love making boxes and wrapping them! I spent countless hours on each box to perfect every detail with care and love. I always enjoy seeing the smile on people's faces when they see a nicely wrapped box that contains their gift. How could this shop exist without our manager and masco, the pup, pictured in our avatar? I'm a proud auntie of the dog who lives far away with my brother. I do miss the pup a lot though! I keep my home smoke-free and pet-free, so that means...the pup is not allowed here.  Still miss him.
